Here is my project that I created in wiki.

Rhoads Opera House Fire

Grade Level: 4th Grade
Objective: Students will evaluate primary sources.
Students will locate primary sources to present to the class.
Students will learn cause and effect of events on a local and national
level.

Students will be studying the Rhoads Opera House Fire (Boyertown Opera House Fire). Students usually have some background knowledge on this topic. They will get a chance to learn the causes and effects of this event. They will be learning how this event affected people on a national level. They will be comparing and contrasting this fire to other major fires. Students will be using different methods of evaluating the primary sources. Students will use both the SEA and NARA methods in this project. They will also be comparing and contrasting and keeping track of their learning through KWL charts. Students will also be synthesizing and creating new products. At the end students will reflect on the importance of this event and the benefits of using primary sources.

What a great project and I am really impressed with your wikipage. Its very creative, easy to follow and user friendly. I also liked how you linked the Boyertown fire to the Triangle fire! Definite evidence of higher level learning and the pictures were well used. Great job! Gloria
